Why is the content I reported still visible?

When you report something on HealthUnlocked, it isn’t always removed immediately. This doesn’t mean your report was ignored — it simply means that the content did not break our community guidelines based on our review.

How reports are reviewed

All reports are checked by a moderator. After reviewing the post, comment, or profile, the moderator decides whether the content breaches our guidelines.

Moderators look for things such as:

  • Abusive or threatening behaviour
  • Spam
  • Personal information being shared
  • Unsafe, harmful, or inappropriate content

If the content does not break our guidelines, we will not remove it.

Why you might still see the content

You may still see the content you reported because:

  • It did not violate our guidelines
  • It needs more context that was not included in the report
  • The content is allowed within the community’s rules
  • The report was reviewed but no action was required

We understand this can be frustrating, but we aim to keep the platform safe while allowing open, supportive discussion.

What you can do

If you still believe the content is harmful or if the situation changes (e.g. more comments are added), you can submit another report with any additional context you think may help.
