How do I close my account?

We're really sorry to see you go!

You can close your HealthUnlocked account at any time. Follow these steps:


  1. Log in to your HealthUnlocked account.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Select Settings

You’ll be guided through a few short screens:

  • Before closing: Information about your username, email preferences, communities, privacy, and what happens to your posts.
  • Optional feedback: You can share why you’re closing your account, or skip this step.
  • Final confirmation: You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to permanently close your account.
  1. Select Close my account to finish.

What happens after you close your account:

  • You won’t be able to log in again.
  • Your profile will be removed.
  • Your posts and replies will remain visible but shown anonymously.
