How do I access my community metrics through my Google Analytics 4 (GA4)?

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the latest version of Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service offered by Google. It is designed to provide website and app owners with insights into their user interactions, helping them understand user behavior, improve user experience, and optimize their digital marketing efforts.

To access your community metrics using GA4, you will first need to set up the integration, which you can do in your community metrics tab in the admin section.

Before setting up the integration, you must have:

  1. the Partner badge associated with your account for the HealthUnlocked community you wish to track
  2. A GA4 account with admin access

Step 1 - Adding your HealthUnlocked community as a data stream to an existing Google analytics account

To be completed by the person who manages your Google Analytics account in your organisation

  1. Log in to your GA4 account and go to 'Admin', then 'Account settings'.
  2. Select the relevant Property (you might want to create a new one just for your community).
  3. Inside the Property, select 'Data Streams'.
  4. Select 'Add Stream' and choose 'Web'.
  5. Add your community's URL (e.g. https://healthunlocked.com/blog ) and choose a name for the Stream, then select 'Create Stream'.
  6. Copy the Measurement ID, starting with 'G- '

Step 2 - Adding the Measurement ID into HealthUnlocked
