Different types of search on HealthUnlocked

To help you find what you’re looking for while using the platform, we have developed two different types of search functions for you to use: Site-wide and community-specific.

Site-wide search

Overview: You will see the search bar at the top of any page on HealthUnlocked. The site-wide search will look across all posts and communities on the platform to help you get the answers you are looking.

How to use:

  1. Click on the search bar.
  2. Type in what you are looking for. (E.g., a condition, medication, symptom, well-being topic or the name of a community)
  3. Press ‘enter’ on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass
  4. You will then be taken to the results page, where you will be given the option to filter the search by either posts, or communities.
  5. Click your choice and scroll through until you find what are looking for
