What is a peer-to-peer support network?
Peer support is the mutual exchange of help and conversation based on a shared understanding, respect and mutual empowerment between people in similar situations. In a peer-to-peer support network, patients, caregivers and health advocates connect online with guidance from credible organisations and institutions.
Our members can discuss their experiences of conditions, treatments, and health services to get support and give support in return. These are catalogued in an intelligent database which signposts relevant content to people based on their profile.
For further information on our expectations for members and communities, you can access our Community Guidelines.
