Moderating your Community
One of the privileges of being a community administrator is that you can moderate your community to ensure that all the discussions held in your community are honest and proper, as well as to lead the conversations that take place.
You are free to moderate the community independently, using your discretion, provided that it follows our Terms & Conditions and keeps our Community Guidelines in mind.
As a community administrator you can edit and delete any published information that you feel needs adjustment. Additionally, if you feel that a particular member hasn't behaved in accordance to what is expected, you can restrict them from posting within your community and, in serious cases of abuse, request that HealthUnlocked ban that user from the platform altogether.
Lastly, you will also receive alerts for Reports of Abuse when a member feels that some published content in your community should be brought to your attention because either your guidelines or one of ours has been violated (due to the member being a bully, spamming, etc.).
If you have any other questions about how to best moderate your community, please check out the Admin Community where you can talk with the other administrators to discuss ideas or issues. Membership within this community isn't compulsory but is highly recommended. Please also don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any further questions.
The ability to moderate your community is a powerful tool that, beyond the occasional need for policing, allows you to set the tone and the atmosphere for your community members. Please remember that we are here to support you as best we can, and to help you get the most out of having a HealthUnlocked community.
