What are community badges?

Community badges on HealthUnlocked are visual indicators awarded to members for their participation and contributions within the community. You can award badges to members of your community who have achieved certain milestones or who offer an elevated level of support to your community. These include:

  1. Administrator: This identifies the administrators of a particular community.
  2. Charity Badge: This identifies the community members who are linked to a particular patient support group or charity.
  3. Volunteer: This identifies individuals selected by administrators to help manage the community.
  4. Milestone Badges: These can include community-specific badges such as "Quit Smoking" or those awarded to members who have completed a particular challenge.

To create a badge, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Badges" section of the Moderation Team Dashboard.
  2. Select " Create new".
  3. You will then see a box titled "add badge", name of the new badge and description.
  4. Once you have added this info, select "add badge" and it will then show up with the existing badges for your community.
