How are community metrics calculated?

The data presented reflects information gathered over the past 12 months, and is calculated up until the end of the previous month. We use this method of calculation as it provides a comprehensive overview of trends and developments over time.

Why don’t we just display the data in real-time within the metrics section?

Real-time data can be subject to fluctuations, and displaying data up until the end of the previous month suggests a more stable and accurate representation. It acknowledges the time it takes to compile and validate data, ensuring that admin and partners are working with reliable information.

Knowing that the metrics are calculated up until the end of the previous month also helps users understand the historical context of the data. It allows users to analyze trends over time without the noise and volatility associated with real-time fluctuations.
