Community Guidelines Highlights

What are the community guidelines highlights?

The purpose of the community guidelines highlights (CGH) is to summarise your community guidelines in a maximum of 6 key points. The main goal of this new feature is to make sure that all members of your community understand your community standards. This feature will allow all members to view the guidelines highlights that are important to you at least once.

How can I add them?

To add CGH, go to your community's About page, click on the drop-down arrow on the right and select Add guidelines. Each CGH has a title and a description. You can have between 3 and 6 CGH. The HealthUnlocked default highlights will be pre-filled for you, so you have the choice to keep them or modify as you see fit.

When and where will members see them?

About page

In the about page, members will  see the title and the description of each CGH. If you have already written community guidelines in a post, whether it is pinned or not, you can add the link of this post at the end of the CGH (we have a link provided for this purpose when you edit them). Your members will only have to click on the "View detailed guidelines" link to be redirected to that post.

Modal

Example of modal with 3 CGH:

In the modal, members will only see the titles of each CGH. They can choose to read more information by going to the about page.

When will they see it?
  • Members who are already part of your community will see the CGH titles only once after the release of the feature when they write a post or reply to a comment.
  • New members will see them right after joining your community.

How do I delete them?

Please know that this is irreversible, you will not be able to retrieve the same guidelines highlights that you just deleted. You can always add new ones.

  1. Go to the About page
  2. Open the drop-down menu on the right-and side
  3. Click on Edit guidelines
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click on delete
