What Content Should I Report?

We take your privacy, as well as your comfort and safety, on HealthUnlocked extremely seriously.

One way that we protect our members is by taking proper action when a member is being abusive to others. The best way to ensure that both HealthUnlocked and the community administrators are aware of any potential abuse is to report it to us as soon as possible.

Any question, post, reply, or private message that does one of the following should be reported to us at the earliest opportunity:

  • that intends (or appears to) damage, insult, bully (or anything similar) any other member of HealthUnlocked

  • where the author is promoting his/her own business (or someone else's business) or encouraging people to visit their clinic/hospital. This type of information will typically try to encourage individuals to contact the author by phone or via email

  • that is or appears to be a scam, or that more generally tries to persuade members into doing something that could be damaging or harmful

As a general rule, if something has been published on HealthUnlocked and you feel it shouldn't be there, please report it to us. We will act on any confirmed reports of abuse.

Users accused of spam or trolling behaviour will be investigated by our administrators.

Members found to be violating the Community Guidelines or the Terms of Use may be either restricted or banned from the site.

Banned members will have all of their content (posts, comments, private messages) permanently removed from the site.
